Following a 34-day 3000-mile tumultuous voyage from the coast of Rhode Island, Captain Vic Scoggin navigates the 80-foot 90-ton Navy research vessel, Eastern Surveyor, into its final resting place in Tennessee waters with only the help of his brother.

The Eastern Surveyor is the first research vessel upon the Cumberland river, and is part of Scoggin's effort to save Tennessee waters.
